Deborah Jardine

I am a painter and decorative artist with a love of traditional design, techniques and a taste for the whimsical. With a Visual Arts Degree to my name, seven years ago I realised a long-held dream and studied Decorative Art at École Sablé in Paris. Living and travelling in Europe brought a greater appreciation for the richness of traditional techniques and design - be it on canvas, walls, ceilings, furniture or objects. In Decorative Art I discovered a perfect confluence for my love of art, history and interior design. This can be seen expressed, on whatever surface I apply my brushes to, in the specialised techniques with which I often blend surreal imagery.
