Claire is a Taranaki-based artist whose work explores form through the natural beauty of Aotearoa’s native flora and fauna. Feathers and grasses are recurring motifs in their creations, reflecting a deep connection to the land and its ecosystems. Sustainability is at the heart of their practice, incorporating recycled materials wherever possible.

The Brown Bach Studio, nestled in a stunning coastal setting near the Opunake Loop Trail and historic Te Namu Pā, offers visitors an inspiring glimpse into the artist’s process. Open on Sundays from 12–4 PM and by appointment throughout the year, the studio welcomes those eager to experience art in harmony with nature.
